Repost: Welcome!

Hi there,

and thanks for visiting this blog! I put it up to give you the opportunity to ask questions, about Scientology, Scientologists, David Miscavige and whatever you feel is related to that. If you are here to make statements or raise a fuss, you are violating the only rule this blog has. So please, don’t do it.

  1. Off the wall question, but when I hear someone refer to the “beliefs” of Scientology, what does that mean?

    • countless websites can help you…
This book i think helps the best….
The moment you use terms related to “western” religioins (islam and christianity) and try to relate it to scientology… things can get a bit confusing… this book does it the best…

    • Sorry i mean… this book clears up the confusion the best… not “confuses” the best…

  2. Is everyone okay, in that fire in Clearwater? Although I may not agree with everything they do, my heart goes out to those impacted by this tragedy,

    • Well, the article in the Clearwater Patch says no one was hurt. The insurance will handle repairs.

      • good news!

  3. Why is it that the Illinois Legislature blocked a program called “Good Choices” from a presence in public schools specifically because of its ties to scientology?

    • Because they don’t consider it to be a secular program

      • Yes, so they say. I guess it’s a political hype between Democrats and Republicans and none of the two actually read the program.

      • Can you provide the link where you learned that the politics is partisan and they didn’t read the measure? Appears to me that one young politician introduced the bill, and all others involved were against it. Even the bill sponsor said he didn’t realize the extent of the ties between the two entities.
Or, as you said, is it all just a guess, what you say?

      • Which, in my mind, means they didn’t read the program or they’d have seen it had nothing to do with Scientology itself.

      • One of the lawmakers had expressed concern that children would see Hubbard’s name on the booklet and look it up. It was a concern for the serparation of church and state.

      • Illogical, isn’t it? Having secrets. Especially since it’s clear just looking at the booklet itself that it’s not a religious book. That attitude would be one I wouldn’t want my children around, as it’s equivalent to book banning and suppression of Freedom of Speech.

    • When the bill was proposed by Nancy, she was totally up front about the program being based on secular common-sense moral code. Critics played the “religion in public schools” card and that was it. The problem being that the only religion in the booklet is the precept “Respect the religious beliefs of others”.

      • Which critics did that?

      • “Opponents contend the Good Choices Program is closely associated with Scientology beliefs and promoting it in schools would violate the separation of church and state.”

        Good ole ABCNews generality

      • Further proof they didn’t even read the booklet, like

How are precepts in the booklet i.e. “Take care of yourself” or “Honor and love your parents” or “Be Industrious” or “Flourish and Prosper” Scientology only concepts?

  • What is this blog?

I am running a website, which deals with critical questions about Scientology.
So naturally I am into finding answers to the questions that are constantly being asked all over the internet about Scientology, Scientologists, the Church, L. Ron Hubbard and the Church's leader, David Miscavige. I want to find answers from independent sources, not only Church of Scientology owned sites or anti-Scientology hate sites. So what's left? Court documents, photos and other reliable sources. Help me find stuff and ask whatever you want. Thanks!

The easiest way to shoot a question over to me is to click here.

    Or search below.
