Church of Scientology: 2009 the best year ever

Press release of the Church of Scientology: http://www.pitchengine.com/church-of-scientology-2009-the-best-year-ever/39497/

Having attended the annual live event (with David Miscavige) last Sunday in Los Angeles I must say that this has some substance. There were good news for true Scientologists galore, for example that all of the information L. Ron Hubbard recorded over the last 50 years or so has now been fully restored. And not only that, it is also available for anyone everywhere.

Feel free to disagree, but I like it!

  1. […] Church of Scientology: 2009 the best year ever […]

  2. I just love the headline then it’s a huge let down. Just audio that’s what you’re calling the best year ever, LMFAO.

Scientology is clearly in emergency. Specially with all the truth coming out about the abuses.

    • “Scientology is clearly in emergency.”

Nope, simple personal observation shows that there are more people now than some years ago. At least in L.A. And all those buildings are obviously there.

I saw that the tax-exemption in Spain is missing on the time line though it happened 2 weeks before.

Spain is the place to be for me this summer!

  3. well, pat’s was certainly more accurate, wasn’t it? ;)

Of course, that makes it very ironic when she says, “You must be confused about the purpose of the forum.”

  4. ” We are here to answer questions and refer you to the source data. ”

That contradicts Louanne’s own mission statement:
“I want to find answers from independent sources, not only Church of Scientology owned sites or anti-Scientology hate sites. “

  5. It’s the great Pat!

Pat, Louanne has addressed all of the “myths”, from the past. The evidence often contradicts her analysis, but at least she’s put some words on paper.

But, there are new “myths” being created all the time. How would you have her address them?

  6. Aside, Pat, does the “no attacks” rule apply to you and louanne, as well?

She’s one of the very few actually defended scientology- that’s not a bad thing. Or would you claim that even SHE isn’t defending scientology?

  7. Amusing.

Have you read Louanne’s posts? Or your own? Questions are rarely answered, but defense (or attacks) are in ample supply.

Case in point- what exactly does the anonymous thread have to do with a scientology myth?

  8. “you see, there are more public protestors and critics than there are defenders. so you are highly visible- each word you say is weighed by critics and scientologists alike. they will all look to see what scientology has done in your life.”

    Amusing

Since when is Myths defending anything? That’s not the purpose of this site. I seem to remember the FAQ that makes attacks the only thing you can’t do here. We are here to answer questions and refer you to the source data. That explains why you keep going at Louanne, bd. You must be confused about the purpose of the forum.

    Pat

  9. louanne, you must realize that you are, in essence, the de facto public face of scientology. which is ironic, as you have hidden your own face.

    that’s quite a heavy burden.

you see, there are more public protestors and critics than there are defenders. so you are highly visible- each word you say is weighed by critics and scientologists alike. they will all look to see what scientology has done in your life.

reading your threads, what do you think they see, and is that what they want in their lives?

  10. No, just for sale, right?
    Those must be very expensive.

Why, may I ask, did you close the previous thread? I saw several subjects that bd provided- just ignoring them doesn’t invalidate them. But, hey, it’s your site- It just makes more sense why you seem to avoid level playing fields, and instead maintain several sites and blogs in which you alone can control the content. Have you ever engaged in an open debate?

  11. So all the information that LRH recorded in the last 50 years is now available everywhere for everyone. Fine.
    Where can i download it?

    • It’s not for download.

      – L

  12. so only the recordings? I would think that his journals and letters would be very valuable to scientologists. are you allowed access to them?

the jahovas witnesses do not reveal who is on the team that translates their scripture, even in court. so the average adherent has no idea who is performing this very important task- in essence, telling them what to do. do you know who is translating hubbard’s words for you?

  13. is the original source material available, too? I mean the recordings, journals, etc.

    • “is the original source material available, too? I mean the recordings, journals, etc.”

Sure. Copies of the ACCs with awful sound quality and gaps have been out for years. Why don’t you compare them and let me know?

      – L

  • What is this blog?

I am running a website, ScientologyMyths.info which deals with critical questions about Scientology.
So naturally I am into finding answers to the questions that are constantly being asked all over the internet about Scientology, Scientologists, the Church, L. Ron Hubbard and the Church's leader, David Miscavige. I want to find answers from independent sources, not only Church of Scientology owned sites or anti-Scientology hate sites. So what's left? Court documents, photos and other reliable sources. Help me find stuff and ask whatever you want. Thanks!

The easiest way to shoot a question over to me is to click here.
