You are saying the FBI did it's job? Great! And yes, I am aware that it took a concerted effort of David Miscavige and LRH to clean up the place and that it took a bit. So what? Somebody did the right thing and it was not outside pressure generating this positive worldwide change (as it then would have happened in 1979 or even earlier, as you say). It was done in rigorous application of Scientology principles on those who betrayed the Scientology religion.

"You are right that no big operations like these have been discovered since the GO was disbanded. But the essence of the GO lives on in the Office of Special Affairs. But the essence of the GO lives on in the Office of Special Affairs."

You must be kidding. What a nice piece of propaganda sh**, no evidence, no information, no nothing, just pure blunt propaganda. Sorry, but you are "arguing" like those stirring up hate crimes recently. That's despicable.

On your Guardian's Office page, you say: "When the GO’s criminal activities were discovered by those who today form the core of the Church’s leadership, the GO was disbanded..."

First, it wasn't discovered by CoS leaders; it was discovered by the FBI when two Scientologists tried to break into a courthouse. Second, Operation Freakout was exposed in 1976. Operation Snow White was discovered in 1977; the conspirators were convicted in 1979. The Guardian's Office wasn't disbanded until 1983. Did it really take six years for the leaders of the CoS to find out why the FBI was raiding them?

It is also noteworthy that the aftermath of Operation Snow White led to Canadian police raiding the Church of Scientology of Toronto in 1983. In the court cases that followed, the Church of Scientology became the first religious organization in Canada to be convicted of breaching the public trust.
